Message from the Board of Trustees
The Board would like to remind our neighbors about some important information:
CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESSES OF MEMBERS
Pursuant to our HOA bylaws, all HOA members are required to maintain a current email address with the HOA in order to receive official HOA communications, and the Board is authorized to communicate to residents by email rather than postal mail. The Board wants to ensure it has everyone's current email address, so you are requested to send an email to email@amherstfarms.org from your current email address and include both your last name and street address in the subject line (e.g. Jones – 999 Sullivan), so that we can cross check our records. If you do not do so, then you incur the risk that you may not receive important HOA information in the future. Similarly, anytime you change your email address or would like to add an additional one, please be sure to send an email to email@amherstfarms.org so that your records can be updated. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this request.
PAST DUE ACCOUNTS
The Board will continue to be consistent with our efforts to collect past due monies from delinquent accounts. Our process will generally proceed as follows:
1. At 15 days past due, the account will be assessed a $25.00 late fee
2. At approximately 30 days past due, a past due notice letter is sent
3. At approximately 60 days past due, a 2nd past due notice letter is sent
4. At approximately 90 days past due, a lien letter will be sent out
You are responsible for any legal fees related to the collection of your account. As always, you can contact the Board if you have any questions or concerns about your account.
We believe that Amherst Farms/Meadows is one of the best communities in East Greenwich with some of the finest neighbors anyone can hope to live around. We look forward to your continued cooperation in the coming year. Please feel free to contact us at any time should you have any questions, concerns, and/or complaints.
